Rebecca told Fitness per Us that Bikram yoga does her body good. "At first the idea of doing a 90-minute workout in a 105-degree room sounded like torture," Romijn admits. "But the sweating is exactly what I became addicted to. My body changed dramatically almost immediately. I'm stronger, I have more energy and I feel better, too. I was proud to get back into a bikini!"

"I went on a major diet about eight months ago. I cut out starch, dairy, fat, red meat, alcohol and sugar," Romijn said. "Just being on a diet was weird for me. I had never been on one in my life, and suddenly I was counting calories and measuring my food. Cutting out sugar was definitely the hardest. The first week I thought I was going to die. The cravings were bad. But after that, it was easy."

The actress and her husband love to sweat together. "We love to take long bike rides. We have a tandem bike, and we go up in the hills near our home," Rebecca said. "Jerry is very show-offy when he's good at something, and he's pretty much good at everything.

"I'm really not about deprivation. If I want a piece of pie, I mean, come on — you have to enjoy life! Especially if you have kids. I usually keep Sunday for whatever-you-want-to-eat day," she told Health.

Exercise doesn't just do Rebecca's body good – it also helps boost her mood. "Especially cardio and yoga. It's a big part of my recipe for happiness," she told Health.

"I really like listening to music when I'm hiking or exercising. I don't like hearing myself breathe. I'm like, 'Am I dying? I think I'm breathing too hard. This is bad. I'm sure this is bad. I should slow down.' [Laughs] I really don't do myself any favors," she told Health.
