Publish date: 2024-06-26

A few hours ago, Kanye West tweeted, “fixing Wolves 2day… Worked on it for 3 weeks.” Now, he’s uploaded a new version of the song to Tidal.

As reported by Entertainment Weekly,

“The latest iteration of “Wolves” is more than one minute longer than the initial album cut, and features the return of Vic Mensa and Sia, both of whom appeared on the first version of the song last year.”

Last year, Wolves debuted during Yeezy Season 1 and featured Sia and Mensa.  The latest version differs from the original song as in this version, repeat effect has been added on some of the lines in the final verse.

Also, “the Frank Ocean coda to the first Life of Pablo take on “Wolves” has been made its own track, aptly named “Frank’s Track.”

Kanye West is editing his album The Life Of Pablo for the second time. Before “Wolves”, West edited his track Famous adding a new line with some altered beats.

The Life Of Pablo is the seventh studio album by Kanye West. Released on February 14, 2016, by Good Music and Def Jam Recordings, the album was launched exclusively through streaming service Tidal but till now, West hasn’t settled for the final version of his album. The album has been through a series of changes which according to West depicts the work as “a living breathing changing creative expression.”
