Jinger Duggar Explains Why She Started Wearing Pants Despite Being Raised To Only Go For Dresses And

Her mother, Michelle, has raised her to only wear skirts and dresses but Jinger Duggar has not followed that rule and now she is explaining why she’s decided to go against her family’s rules and put on pants as well! Jinger defended her decision during the latest episode of Counting On and it looks like she has a good reason why she’s rebelled against that family tradition.

Furthermore, her mom has reacted to that explanation. Is she upset?

As fans of Counting On know, the 25 year old was caught on camera wearing a pair of pants as he was hiking the Hollywood sign alongside her hubby Jeremy Vuolo.

During her on-camera interviews on the latest episode of the reality TV show, Jinger defended her choice to wear the piece of clothing even though she was raised to think that as a woman, she should only wear dresses and skirts.

‘Why did I decide to incorporate pants into my wardrobe? I think that, for me personally, my parents raised us to honor Christ in everything we do. That is where the Lord’s led me as of now. Growing up, my parents instilled in all of us the importance of modesty. And so I am really, really grateful for that foundation and for that training,’ she started.

After tying the knot with Jeremy back in 2016, she started to wear pants and she was happy that her parents actually supported her decision.

‘We had some conversations before I started wearing pants and I just shared all my heart with them and where I saw that the Lord leading me. I was grateful for their response. They said to just walk with the Lord conventionally, and seek to honor him and maintain modesty.’
