Foo Fighters, Disturbed, System Of A Down To Headline The Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival
COLUMBUS, OH (CelebrityAccess) — The Foo Fighters, System Of A Down and Disturbed have been announced as the headliners for the inaugural edition of the Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival.
The festival, which will take the place of the venerable Rock On The Range festival, will take place from May 17-19 at Mapfre Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.
It is the first major festival announced by Danny Wimmer Presents since the concert and events promoter parted ways with AEG in September.
Sonic Temple also will feature performances from the likes of Bring Me The Horizon, The Prodigy, Ghost, Halestorm, Lamb of God, Chevelle, Joan Jett And The Blackhearts, and The Cult (who seem almost obligatory considering the festival’s name).
The festival will also feature a SiriusXM-sponsored “Comedy & Spoken Word” tent that will include performances from Andrew Dice Clay, Pauly Shore, and others, as well as a spoken word set from Henry Rollins.
The festival will feature three music stages, premium food and beverage selections, and art installations, as well as the somewhat ambiguously named “enhanced onsite experiences.”
