Carmen Electra

Carmen Electra is an American television personality and model with an estimated net worth of $15 million. She was born on April 20, 1972 by the name of Tara Leigh Patrick. She was born in Ohio. Her mother is a singer and her father is a guitarist, and Carmen Electra spent most of her childhood exposed to the limelight and the lifestyle that often accompanies those who are in the music business. She is the youngest of six kids. She has four older brothers and one older sister, and she has been interested in performing since she was a child. She grew up studying dance and acting, and she really wanted to perform on Broadway as a part of her career.

When she was 18, she began performing professionally. It was 1990 and she became one of the dancers in a show at a park in Ohio called “It’s Magic,” and she was an instant hit in the show. People came to see it from all over the country, and she was happy with her role. However, she was not satisfied with just that in her life and she moved to California one year later, met Prince and signed with his record label to go into the music business. She became officially known as Carmen Electra at that point in her career. When she decided that music was not for her, she began acting on television. She was in several different shows and she became a very famous model when she posed numerous times in Playboy.

She began acting in movies in the early 2000s, creating her own naughty dance workout DVDs and she began doing all that she was invited to do on television and on stage. Her personal life was a bit of a mess, and she was very interested in fitness. About this time, she also published her own book, and she became an author. Personally, Carmen Electra’s life was not in a good place. In 1998, she began dating basketball star Dennis Rodman. Her mother then died and her sister died a few weeks after, and her life fell apart. She turned to Rodman for comfort and the two wed just a few months later.

Their marriage was over before a year was up, and they divorced. In fact, nine days after they eloped to Las Vegas, Dennis Rodman filed for an annulment stating he was not in his right frame of mind when he married Carmen Electra. Her response was that they just got caught up in a very emotional moment and made a mistake. They didn’t actually annul their marriage, but four months later decided that they would follow with a divorce. In 2003, Carmen Electra married Dave Navarro, a rocker from Jane’s Addiction. Their marriage lasted 3 years before they decided to separate. She’s dated a few people here and there, but she’s focused more on her career and on her own life than she is on her romantic life; especially as it pertains to fitness and health.
