Anitta is all about self-love, and she wants others to feel the same way. "I want to spread the Brazilian message to everyone," she tells Bustle. "The message — to me — is this energy [of] self-love. Be healthy. Be happy. I understand a lot of people say I'm [wrong] and [Brazilians] are talking about the physical beauty. But we really believe that the way you feel inside is the way people are going to see you physically."

For Anitta, happiness is her main priority. She tells Bustle, "We don't care much about what people are going to say. We just want to feel the happiness inside us and not pretend that we are cool," she says. "[That's] the definition of beauty: When you are happy and are spreading that energy, people are going to see that you're beautiful."

Anitta is all about skincare. She shared some of her tips and favorite products in her Bustle interview. "When I wake up and [before] I go to sleep, [washing my face] is a priority," she says. "When I'm not working, I wash my face more than two times just to get rid of oil with [an anti-acne cleanser]. I can't do too much product on my face because it gets very oily, and I'll get pimples."

In an interview with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, Anitta shared some of her tips for self-confidence. She says that she makes sure to have a healthy mindset and the right amount of thinking. "It's very hard for you to feel confident in a bikini. I think [you just need] to stop thinking and overthinking. Sometimes overthink. If you think that you look amazing, you will look amazing. It's all a matter of mindset."

In her SI Swimsuit interview, Anitta was asked what the best advice she had ever been given. "Don't care about what people think and don't be afraid of people," she answered. "I was very scared of people, afraid of their opinions, their criticism. I was like that a long time ago, but then I got this advice from my mom. So nowadays, she cares more about what people think than me."
